How does the game work?
While a hilarious simulated virtual work meeting unfolds around your team, they will hunt for clues online and work together over chat. Their mission is to piece together the five excuses their boss will accept to let them “escape” the meeting. Every step along the way is immersed in workplace-themed comedy.
The experience takes 60 minutes, and our game manager works behind the scenes to track progress, respond to submissions, and keep teams moving if they get stuck.
How many people can play?
You’ll need at least 4 players to start, with up to 10 people per team. We can host up to 100 players at once, split into multiple teams. Have a larger group? Contact us directly at info@escapefromthemeeting.com to schedule your game.
If your headcount changes significantly, just let us know as soon as you can so we can adjust the setup.
What equipment do we need?
All you need to play is access to a computer, stable internet, and email. The game runs online through your browser, so just click the link and play. No apps or downloads required.
How easy is it to set up?
Very easy. After you book, we send you a personal game link, a ready-to-send calendar invite description, and a team sign-up form.
On the day of the event, participants just click the game link and enter their assigned chat rooms. The game will start with a video explaining how to play, then the meeting begins and teams start searching for clues.
Our game manager will handle everything else on game day, so you can relax and join in on the fun too.
Is it suitable for introverts?
Yes, interaction in the game is entirely chat based and is collaborative without putting people on the spot. There are no awkward ice breakers or need to perform on camera. Players can contribute by searching, solving, chatting, observing, or just laughing along with their team.
Is it remote friendly?
Absolutely. The game was designed for distributed teams, with everything happening online.
What kind of humor is involved?

What happens after I book?
You’ll receive an immediate confirmation email. Within 24 hours, we will send your personal game link, a ready-to-send calendar invite description, and a team sign-up form. Simply invite your team, complete the sign-up form at least 48 hours before your event, and we’ll take care of the rest.
