How many people can play at once?
A minimum of 4 people are needed to play the game. The game can be played with up to a 100 people at one time, with a maximum of 10 people per team. For larger teams, the game is played by dividing into smaller groups (of 4-10 people) to work together to solve the puzzles. This is a great option for groups who also want fun competition to see which team can escape faster.
What equipment do we need?
All you need to play is access to a computer, stable internet, and email.
How do we attend the meeting?
You will receive a private link for your team to an online screening of the meeting that will air during your game time. During the 60-minute meeting, your team will communicate over private team chats to work together and solve the clues.
How do we win?
In order to win, you will need to discover the 5 excuses that your boss will accept to leave the meeting as fast as possible. The faster you find valid excuses, the more points your team earns. This will require you to explore the resources available to you (like company documents, password-protected files and more), pick up on social cues on what makes your boss tick, and use logical reasoning to figure out how to get out of the meeting.
Is there a game master?
Yes, your game master will be playing as your boss’ executive assistant and will be available to you throughout your game time via email. They are the person who you will submit your excuses to in order to find out if you successfully found one that your boss will accept.
